# Evolt Karting > Indoor electric go-karting at two locations in Malaysia: Evolt Selangor (Shah Alam) and Evolt Johor (ÆON Mall Bukit Indah). Evolt Selangor also offers sim racing, VR laser tag, VR karting, junior karting, group events, and SWS (SODI World Series) championship racing. ## What Evolt Is Evolt Karting is an indoor electric karting operator with two tracks in Malaysia. Founded in 2023 by Weiron Tan. Evolt Selangor (600 m track, Shah Alam) runs go-karting, junior karting, sim racing, Evolt XR (VR laser tag and VR karting), Grand Prix group races, birthday parties, team building, private venue hire, and SWS championship rounds. Evolt Johor (450 m track, ÆON Mall Bukit Indah) runs go-karting, Grand Prix group races, private full-track hire, and SWS championship rounds. ## About the Founder Weiron Tan is a World Endurance Championship (WEC) race winner, former Caterham F1 Junior Development Driver, and former official Audi Sport Asia works driver. He was selected for the Caterham F1 junior programme as the sole Malaysian representative, and went on to race with Andretti Autosport in the USA — topping the Pro Mazda Championship in wins and pole positions as the first Malaysian to win a race in America. In 2018, Weiron and his teammates became the first all-Asian lineup to win a WEC race, competing with Jackie Chan DC Racing x Jota Sport. Minimum height 140 cm. Three tiers by experience and lap time: Novice (NOV), Advanced (ADV), Pro (PRO). 1 session: NOV RM 70 / ADV RM 85 / PRO RM 100. 3 sessions: NOV RM 190 / ADV RM 235 / PRO RM 280. 5 sessions: NOV RM 310 / ADV RM 390 / PRO RM 460. All Day Pass: RM 349 (weekdays) / RM 449 (weekends and public holidays) — 6 hours unlimited karting, 1 person. X2Drive tandem kart (Selangor only): RM 115 — driver must be 18+ and at least 140 cm; passenger at least 110 cm. ### Junior Karting (Selangor Only) 8-minute sessions on smaller karts. Junior: minimum height 110 cm. Max: minimum height 130 cm. BabyKart: ages 3–6, parent rides behind. Junior 1 session: RM 35 / Max 1 session: RM 45. Junior 3 sessions: RM 75 / Max 3 sessions: RM 85. BabyKart 1 session: RM 25 / BabyKart 3 sessions: RM 55. ### Credits — Prepaid Session Bundles (Selangor & Johor) 1 credit = 1 go-karting session. Credits are non-transferable. 10 credits: RM 600. 20 credits: RM 1,100. 30 credits: RM 1,500. ### Sim Racing (Selangor Only) Four direct-drive sim rigs. F1 and GT titles. Rigs can be linked for side-by-side racing. Partner: Vertex Esports. Hours: weekdays from 4:00 PM; weekends and public holidays from 12:00 PM; closes 12:00 AM daily. Single session (15 min): RM 40 per person. Group of 4 (15 min): RM 30 per person. Day pass: RM 150 per person — unlimited sessions that day. Private booking (all 4 rigs): RM 500 per hour. ### Evolt XR (Selangor Only) Two VR experiences at Evolt Selangor only. XR Laser Tag: PvP VR laser tag, 1–20 players, ~10 minutes. RM 30 per person. XR Karting: Real electric karts in a virtual track, ~8 minutes. RM 60 (minimum height 110 cm) / RM 70 (minimum height 130 cm). ## Championship Racing Evolt runs two SWS (Speed World Series) electric karting championships across Selangor and Johor. ### SWS E-Sprint Cup Adult sprint championship. Requirements: age 15+, minimum height 140 cm, PRO kart qualification. Multiple qualifying and race rounds at Selangor and Johor. Prizes include Selangor, Johor, and National titles, 2027 SWS International Finals qualification, BELL RS-7K Pro helmet, cash vouchers, trophies, race photography, season T-shirt, and goodie bag. Entry fee per round varies — see calendar or /racing/e-sprint. ### SWS Junior Cup Junior championship. Requirements: age 7–14, minimum height 140 cm, ADV kart. Raced on SODI RSX2 ADV karts. Prizes include champion trophy, podium prizes, cash vouchers, trophies, photography, T-shirt, and goodie bag. Entry fee per round varies — see calendar or /racing/junior-cup. ## Events & Group Bookings ### Grand Prix — Group Race Formats (Selangor & Johor) Structured race day for 6–10 drivers per on-track group. GP Mini (Qualifying + Race): RM 150 per driver (NOV) / RM 180 per driver (ADV). GP Standard (Practice + Qualifying + Race): RM 200 per driver (NOV) / RM 245 per driver (ADV). Includes live timing, marshals, kart tier choice, free helmet hire. One kart tier per group. Minimum 6 drivers. Arrive 20 minutes before session. ### Birthday Parties (Selangor) Custom packages. Options include XR Laser Tag, Junior Karting (minimum height 110 cm), and XR Karting (minimum height 110 cm). Private party space included; own catering allowed. Price on enquiry. Book at least 2 weeks ahead. ### Team Building (HRDC Claimable) Corporate programmes with ATAG. HRDC claimable. Half Day: 4 hours, 20–60 people. Full Day: 8 hours, 30–100 people.
